About this role
REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's Degree;
• Valid Texas Secondary English Language Arts/Reading Grades 6-12 Certificate; and/or an eligibility letter from an Alternative Certification Program or equivalent (must have passed content exam to qualify)
• If not ESL certified must be eligible and become ESL certified within the 2026-2027 school year.
The English Language Arts/Reading Teacher will teach English to high school students. The English teacher will complete all paperwork as well as instructional duties assigned to provide the best education possible for students of B.I.S.D.
