POSITION: 8TH GRADE SCIENCE TEACHER Effective 2026-27 School Year LOCATION: KETTERING FAIRMONT MIDDLE SCHOOL GENERAL INFORMATION: Applicants must have a current 4-9 OR 7-12 Social Studies Ohio teaching license. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES, Partial List
• Develops daily and seasonal educational objectives.
• Supervises and manages all classroom activities.
• Participates in school-wide programs and activities.
• Communicate with parents and guardians of assigned students.
• Maintains records regarding student progress.
• Provides a variety of instructional experiences for all students.
QUALIFICATIONS, Partial List
• Valid Ohio teaching license.
• Must pass criminal background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
• Collaboration and problem-solving skills.
• Educational technology skills including, but not limited to, the Google Suite and Desmos.
• Special consideration will be given to applicants certified to teach College Credit Plus in the State of Ohio.
