Aledo ISD is seeking a PRE-K Teacher for the Early Childhood Academy for the2026-2027 school year. Current Teacher Compensation Plan attached, as well as Job Description.
Reports to: Campus Principal Primary Purpose: Provide all students, including those receiving special education services, with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the assigned core academic subject area to support their intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Develop and/or modify curriculum, lessons, and instructional materials to meet diverse ability levels, and serve in self-contained, team, department, or itinerant roles as assigned, guiding students to develop the competencies and skills necessary to function successfully in society. Qualifications:
Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree from accredited university Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements. Special Education Certification - Supplemental May require additional certification in subject area depending upon assignment Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or another early childhood education credential approved by the Texas Education Agency Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
