About this role
SCOPE: To support secondary school athletic programs with athletic training services through the prevention, examination, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of emergent, acute or chronic injuries and medical conditions. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: REQUIRED: • Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field • Valid Florida Educators’ Professional, Temporary or Career & Technical Education Certification. PREFERRED/DESIRED: • Master’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field • Two years of occupational experience CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/TRAINING: REQUIRED: • Current certification through NATA (National Athletic Trainers Association) and BOC (Board of Certification) • Hold or be eligible for a valid Athletic Trainer license issued by the Florida Board of Athletic Training • Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification • Valid Florida Driver’s license
