***MUST UPLOAD RESUME*** REQUIRED:
• Associate's of Applied Science in child development or a closely related field with six (6) college hours in child development and six (6) college hours in business management; and
• At least two (2) years of experience in a licensed child care center
• Day Care Director certificate or meet eligibility criteria to apply for day care director certificate within three months
PREFERRED:
• Bachelor's Degree with twelve (12) college hours in child development and six (6) college hours in business management; and
• At least one (1) year of experience in a licensed child-care center.

The role of the Assistant Director, Childcare is to assist the Day Care Director in managing the daily operations. The role involves supervising staff, managing paperwork and implementing policies to ensure a safe and educational environment for children. This position will support the Day Care Director in maintaining center capacity and help ensure compliance with the state's standards and licensing.
