Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a bus safely along assigned routes and schedules
• Pick up and drop off passengers at designated stops
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Assist passengers, including those with disabilities or special needs
• Maintain order and ensure passenger safety during transit
• Handle emergencies or unexpected situations calmly and effectively
• Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and incidents
Requirements and Skills:
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement (requirements vary by location)
• Clean driving record
• Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Physical ability to sit for long periods and assist passengers when needed
