About this role
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Diploma, 16+ years of age, CPR and First Aid Certified Reports to: Childcare Center Director Performance Responsibilities:
• Supervise and provide activities for infants and/or children.
• Work directly with the infants and/or children in the program.
• Listen to and follow directions of the Childcare Center Director and Assistant Director.
• Participates in and completes all required continuing education trainings provided by Piedmont Schools.
• Completes Master Teacher training and certification.
• Work together with other childcare center staff to meet the needs of all children.
• Exhibit a positive attitude and public relations skills.
• Maintain staff time sheet.
• Maintain physical environment of classroom, ensuring safety and security.
• Provide appropriate information to Childcare Center Director and/ or Assistant Director for program needs.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Abides by all district, federal and state laws, and regulatory agencies.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Terms of Employment: Work as needed. Evaluation: Evaluation by Childcare Center Director in accordance with BOE policy Physical Demands:
• Ability to routinely and continually bend, squat, stand, walk, or climb stairs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to do outside duties in inclement weather.
