• High school diploma • Valid state license to practice as an Educational Aide • Passage of the Paraprofessional Test or 2 year degree • Classroom experience with handicapped students • Ability to work with students with behavior difficulties • Must be able to deal appropriately with students who exhibit emotional or behavioral problems, aggressive behavior, or physical problems • Physically capable to apply CPI techniques when necessary • Clear BCI/FBI report • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate
