Substitute Assistant Athletic Trainer Pool (2026-2027) LPS Athletic Department The assistant athletic trainer substitute will coordinate with the athletic trainer to maintain all aspects of the Lincoln High training facility. Certification requirement: Licensed Certified Athletic Trainer. Looking for Certified Athletic Trainers under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer and Athletic Director. They would be responsible for the care and treatment of student athletes in the athletic training room, on the practice field and at athletic contests. Some of the responsibilities will include: maintaining hours in the training room, provide athletic training coverage at assigned high school athletic events and tend to the needs of the coaches and athletes. The substitute position will fill in at various LPS high schools during the course of the upcoming year when the need arises due to the absence of a full time trainer. Required Certifications: Licensed Athletic Trainer, First Aid CPR-Professional Rescuer, BOC Certified, and NATA Certification. This position is subject to a veterans preference.
