About this role
Summit High School in beautiful Summit County, Colorado is seeking a dynamic coach and educator to lead the boy's lacrosse program beginning in the 2026-27 school year. Under the direction of the athletic director and Summit High School administration and in accordance with District policies, procedures and CHSAA regulations, the Head Boys Lacrosse coach shall be responsible for the phases of the Boys Lacrosse program. Characteristics and qualities:

• Establishes a program foundation built on excellent communication, trust and positive engagement.
• Balances the student-first approach with lacrosse skill development and improvement.
• Teaches and develops sport and life skills, leadership, integrity and sportsmanship.
• Always serves as a positive role model as well as an exemplary representative of Summit High School.
• Effectively manages the budget and equipment inventory.
• Committed to year-round interaction with boys lacrosse players.
• Promotes lacrosse in Summit County and builds relationships with the lacrosse community and constituents.
• Hires assistant coaches who share the same goals as the Head Coach for student-athlete development.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma
• High school and/or college playing experience preferred
• 3 or more years of coaching experience preferred
Hiring Range: $391.50 - $861.30 weekly. Review of applications will begin on June 1 and the position will remain open until filled.
