About this role
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team at Yoder Learning Center. In this role, you will work directly with students, providing support in a variety of areas, including supervision, attending to physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs, and fostering a positive, nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and assist students in the classroom setting
• Support students with their academic, personal, and emotional development
• Foster a positive and caring atmosphere to help students succeed
• Be a dependable and nurturing guide to help students grow and thrive
Qualifications:
• A passion for working with children and supporting their growth
• Strong communication skills, integrity, and maturity
• Patience, empathy, and professionalism when engaging with students
• A commitment to follow Madison-Champaign ESC rules and policies
• A servant-leader mindset, dedicated to helping students reach their full potential
• Valid ODE Aide Permit (may apply after being selected)
• Satisfactory results on criminal records check
• Candidate must be credentialed in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) OR be able to attend 4 days of TCI training and pass the TCI test
