VACANCY BULLETIN The Pine Hill Board of Education announces the following vacancy: Middle School Reading Specialist Position Available: 2026-2027 School Year QUALIFICATIONS:
• Certification: Valid New Jersey Standard Certificate: Reading Specialist and NJ Teacher of English and/or Middle School with Subject-Matter Specialization (Grades 5-8).
• Specialized Training: Extensive documented training in evidence-based, multisensory structured literacy instruction aligned with the Science of Reading is strongly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience, including demonstrated success accelerating literacy growth for adolescent learners performing two or more years below grade level.
• NJTSS Fluency: Comprehensive knowledge of the New Jersey Tiered System of Supports (NJTSS), including literacy intervention frameworks, data-driven decision making, progress monitoring, and the I&RS process.
• Data & Tech Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to use multiple assessment data sources (NJSLA, DIBELS, STAR, etc.) to drive instructional decision-making and utilize assistive technology tools, including speech-to-text and text-to-speech, to increase accessibility for diverse learners.
Salary: Step E, $63,471 (Negotiable with experience) Pending NJEA Contract Negotiations
