About this role
Fluvanna County Public Schools accepts student teachers, practicum, observation placements and interns from accredited institutions. If you are completing a teaching, school counseling, social worker, speech pathologist or nursing program and would like to coordinate your placement or internship with our division, please complete an online application. Application and approval are required prior to starting a placement or internship. Additional information may be required from the college/university advisor for review. Please provide placement request details to include the type of placement, requested dates, duration, hours, grade level and advisor contact information. Steps:
• Please complete the online application to start the review process.
• Ask that your college/university advisor send placement details to: Dr. Don Stribling, Assistant Superintendent, at [email protected]
• We'll need to review your application, the placement dates and mentor requirements to coordinate with our principals and schools.
• You'll receive emails from our HR department regarding the review ,status and next steps.
All student placements shall meet the same health requirements as other personnel. *If you are interested in substitute teaching upon completing your placement, please let our office know. Additional paperwork and processing may be required*
