About this role

Job Objective: Performs various duties that support the effective operation of the Treasurer's office. Addresses issues that arise during the absence of the Treasurer within the limits prescribed by law. Performs duties that support the effective processing of payrolls, accounts payable, and employee benefits. Salary: Commensurate with experience; 260 day contract with fringe benefits. Minimum Qualifications: - Associates degree or equivalent accounting work experience is required. Payroll experience preferred. - Demonstrates proficiency in accounting skills and the ability to consistently, accurately compute and record mathematical data. - Proficient in office protocol and technology business equipment. - Ability to interact comfortably and confidently with public and school personnel. - Multitasking ability and strong interpersonal skills. - Proficient in data entry, spelling, proofreading and the correct use of grammar. - Proficient in the use of computer software programs, particularly Excel, Word and State software (USAS-R, USPS-R, and Inventory programs) - Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies. - Provides documented evidence of a clear criminal record.
