JOB TITLE: CAMPUS SUPERVISOR SUPERVISED BY: Principal SUPERVISES: NIA SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the safety and well-being of students, staff and visitors at the school Duties include supervising and monitoring students within and outside the school building, during lunch and in in-school, communicating with administrators and students regarding issues and/or behavior; enforcing appropriate student behavior and monitoring student attendance. Frequency Supervise student behavior before, during and after school, during class changes and during lunch.
Manage disorderly students by interceding in student altercations, enforcing school rules and disciplinary plans and reporting disruptive and/or inappropriate ations to administrators.
Supervise and guide student behavior and flow during the lunch period.
Oversee the behavior and work of students in in-school suspension
Communicate with students to foster trust; open lines of communication; and enforce, model and/or instruct on appropriate student behavior
Assist teachers in classroom by assisting with student supervision and helping students set goals to complete assignments
Assist administration with fire and emergency drills.
Use visual system and investigate student behavior
Administer restorative justice to resolve student conflicts.
Monitor halls, grounds and common spaces to ensure students are in class and/or have reason to be out of class.
Demonstrates the commitment to build and maintain a safe, fair and respectful working and learning environment that honors the cultural diversity of students and staff.
Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• Valid community First Aid car and CPR car (or acquire within 6 months of hire)
• Experience working with high school students and/or working in law enforcement or security.
