About this role
ESY Schedule: ESY Set-Up Days: Monday, June 29 and Tuesday, June 30 Student Service Days: Monday, July 6 to Thursday, August 6, 2026 (Mon-Thurs for a 5 week period). Daily Times: Full Day/ Specific Hours To Be Determined Location: CERC Building Pay Rate: $18/ Hour (Includes 30 minute working lunch daily) Reports to: ESY Coordinator & Special Education Director Qualifications:
• Associate's Degree Preferred; High School Diploma and successful WorkKeys exam required
• CPI and CPR training is required
• Knowledge and experience working with students with disabilities in an educational setting
• Ability to support student learning, independence, personal care, communication, social/ behavioral skills etc., based on each student's IEP needs, goals and supports
• Demonstrated ability to maintain required documentations, data collection and progress monitoring records
• Physical ability to respond to student needs, crises & behaviors
• Previous xperience working in self-contained programs and/or ESY preferred
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support ESY program instruction and daily routines
• Support students with maintaining skills on IEP goal areas of concern targeted for ESY
• Assist w/ students' personal and care needs, which may include changing, toileting, feeding, implementing medical care plans, etc.
• Implement student positive behavior support plans and strategies
• Assist with student data tracking, as assigned
• Work collaboratively with ESY teachers and other staff members
• Maintain positive attitude and communication with staff/ students/ parents
• Follow through with all support activities/ tasks assigned by ESY teachers
• On site presence required
• Other duties as assigned
