High School Golf Coach – Woodstock, Vermont Woodstock Union High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic High School Golf Coach to lead and develop our student-athletes. Position: High School Golf Coach Location: Woodstock, Vermont Employment Type: Seasonal, Part-Time Start Date: August 2026 Responsibilities
• Lead and develop the high school golf program throughout the season.
• Plan and conduct practices focused on skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork, and course management.
• Prepare student-athletes for local, regional, and state competitions.
• Ensure compliance with all school, district, and Vermont Principals' Association (VPA) policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and community members to support student success.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment that promotes personal growth and athletic achievement.
Qualifications
• Experience playing and/or coaching golf at the high school level or higher preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate, mentor, and support student-athletes.
• Knowledge of high school athletics and eligibility requirements.
• Commitment to the academic, social, and athletic development of students.
• Successful completion of all required background checks and coaching certifications.
