About this role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Softball Coach to support our 9-12 High School Softball program. The ideal candidate will work closely under the direction of the Head Coach to instruct student-athletes, reinforce program culture, and help manage the daily operations of the team. Key Responsibilities
• Coaching & Instruction: Assist the Head Coach in teaching the fundamental rules, skills, strategies, and sportsmanship of softball during practices and games.
• Program Support: Help plan, organize, and execute daily practices, game-day preparations, and team events.
• Student-Athlete Mentorship: Support a positive, disciplined team environment that prioritizes academic success, character development, and teamwork.
• Squad Management: Take a lead or supportive role in managing specific squads (such as JV or Freshmen teams) or specific position groups as designated by the Head Coach.
• Logistics & Collaboration: Assist with equipment inventory, field preparation, and other administrative duties while maintaining professional communication with staff, players, and parents.
