About this role
POSITION: 19-20 FCMS Head Track Coach/Assistant High School
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Competitive Track and Field experience preferred
• Possess effective communication skills
• Ability to work afternoons and some weekends
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs to shoulder height occasionally
• Teaching license or college degree preferred
REPORTS TO: Head High School Track Coach TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Stipend ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Comprehensive knowledge of the rules and fundamentals of track & field.
• To model fundamental skills.
• Develop and implement practice plans
• To place a team on the field of competition.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
• Work collaboratively with other coaches & staff.
• Follow district policies, rules and regulations.
• Follows the direction of the head coach.
• Maintain positive relations with students & parents.
• Model proper dress, language, demeanor and student/teacher relations.
