ANNOUNCEMENT DATE: June 2, 2026 INTERNAL/EXTERNAL CLOSING DATE: Until Filled JOB CLASSIFICATION: Certificated JOB TITLE: Science Teacher TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 2026-2027 School Year Work Basis: 10 hours daily, Mon-Thurs Rate of Pay: Teacher Salary Schedule (http://bit.ly/GUSDCeSS) Fringe Benefits REPORTS TO: High Desert MIddle School Principal WORK LOCATION: High Desert Middle School OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES: This position's primary goal will be to guide the learning process toward the achievement of state and district curriculum goals within the content area. The individual must possess the ability to establish and communicate clear objectives to the students for all lessons, units, and projects. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Requires a valid Arizona Teaching Certificate
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate
