REPORTS TO: Principal JOB GOAL: To assist in providing academic intervention in small group settings and facilitate literacy integration. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepares for and implements small group activities under the supervision of a highly qualified teacher.
• Works with students to deliver direct instruction.
• Maintains confidentiality concerning student records, data and personal information.
• Utilizes planning time in the classroom under the direction of the teacher.
• Guides independent study and enrichment work.
• Supervises a small group of students.
• Assists students by providing proper examples, emotional support, and a friendly attitude.
• Confers with teacher concerning materials to meet students' needs.
• Participates in Professional Development activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 36 weeks / no more than 25 hours weekly/ $30 hourly EVALUATED BY: Performance of this job will be evaluated by the principal.
