About this role
Position Summary: The Dyslexia Paraeducator works under the supervision of the Dyslexia Therapist to deliver intervention services using a structured literacy program. This role focuses on providing small group or individual support to students with dyslexia. Key Responsibilities:
• Implement dyslexia intervention programs as directed by the Dyslexia Therapist.
• Provide small group or one-on-one instruction to students receiving services.
• Monitor and document student progress under the guidance of the Dyslexia Therapist.
• Assist with materials preparation and classroom organization for intervention sessions.
• Participate in training sessions to develop and maintain proficiency in delivering dyslexia programs.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience working with students in an instructional capacity, particularly in reading intervention.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
