JOB VACANCY 06.04.2026 Cheltenham School District announces the following support staff positions for the 2026-2027 school year. Position Title: Paraeducator
Location: District-wide Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required (required to obtain the PA Paraeducator Credential of Competency Certificate during the 90-day probationary period); or
• An associate degree or higher; or
• Completion of two (2) years of post-secondary education.
Overview/Summary: Paraeducators assist the special education teachers and the general education teachers with the instruction, supervision and support of students with academic, social emotional developmental, physical and behavioral needs in accordance with student's individual education plan(IEP). Maintain strict confidentiality with respect to information concerning students, personnel and other administrative matters affecting the district.
