Durango School District is hiring a Volleyball Specialist at Miller Middle School. This coaching position involves instructing middle school students (grades 7 and 8) in the fundamental skills, strategies, and physical training of volleyball. We are a member of the San Juan Basin Middle School League; Begins August 2026, and the season ends mid October 2026. Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of effective coaching practices/techniques of volleyball
• Ability to build rapport with middle school students
• Ability to build individual and team character and confidence
• Ability to relate to students of varying athletic abilities
• Ability to conduct oneself in an ethical and exemplary manner at all times
• Ability to work positively with coaches, staff, and administration
• Ability to communicate effectively with student athletes and parents
