Position Title: 8th Grade English/Language Arts Salary Range: Teacher Salary Contract Length: Contractual Year Immediate Supervisor: Principal Basic Function: The English/Language Arts teacher will be responsible for providing effective instruction in Language Arts. Instruction must be driven by the common core standards. The teacher must implement learning activities that are relevant to the lives of the students. Students with IEPs will be mainstreamed in these classes. So the teacher must provide accommodations as written in the students' IEPs. Also, the teacher
