Reports to: Special Education Supervisor, Principal Location: Ashtabula Area City Schools Contract Length: 184 Days Compensation: As per ACESC Salary Schedule Required Qualifications:
• Teaching certification as an Intervention Specialist K-12
• Successful BCII/FBI background checks
• Ability to develop and implement Individual Education Plans
• Ability to develop and implement Behavior Support Plans
• Proficient technology skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in teaching special education students
• Project and inquiry-based instruction and pedagogy
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, talk, hear, push, lift, bend and twist at the neck more than the average person.
