REPORTS TO: Band Director
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: The Cedar Springs High School Marching Band has an immediate opening for a Band Camp Drumline Assistant for the week of band camp, August 3-7, 2026. Must be a current employee of EduStaff or willing to become an employee of EduStaff. Employment will begin August 3, pending completion of Edustaff registration and all required paperwork. RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Attendance at band camp
• Assist with show design
• Instruction of basic and applied percussion technique and marching
• Creating a positive, while challenging and competitive environment for students to achieve excellence
• Complete all paperwork in a timely fashion
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Extensive experience in the performing arts
• Previous successful drumline instruction at the high school level
• Extensive knowledge of marching percussion technique, design and instruction
• Ability to establish working relationships with co-workers and function as part of a cohesive team
• Able to have effective and positive communication with students, staff members and directors
• Responsible, professional, embodies high ethical standards and integrity
