About this role
Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior Varsity (JV) Field Hockey Coach to lead the development of our student-athletes while fostering a positive, competitive, and growth-oriented team culture. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the game, demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills, and serve as a positive role model for student-athletes. The JV Coach will emphasize skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork, and preparation for advancement within the overall field hockey program. Qualifications
• Previous experience playing field hockey is required.
• Prior coaching experience is preferred.
• Ability to effectively teach basic skills and strategies.
• Increase the players' love of the game.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the head coach, athletic department, players, and families.
Responsibilities
• Be available for the full practice and game schedule throughout the season.
• Promote the academic, athletic, and personal growth of student-athletes
• Uphold school, district, and athletic department policies and expectations.
