About this role
Summary of Duties: General cleaning and minor maintenance in all areas of the building and grounds to include scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming, dusting sweeping, buffing, snow removal, grass mowing, hedge trimming. Position involves moving furniture, supplies, and equipment. Other duties as assigned by the school's principal / designee. Qualifications: • Experience in custodial or related field. • Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, equipment, and chemicals. • Demonstrated ability to effectively use machines/equipment for routine cleaning and maintenance. • Ability to understand written and oral instructions. • Ability to communicate effectively with others, verbally and in writing. • Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds. • Possess a valid driver's license. Salary: Range for 2026-2027 is $17.51 to $26.97 per hour. Workday: Full-Time, 260 days, 8 hours a day - alternating hours Location: Winchester Public Schools - Division-Wide Start Date: July 1, 2026
