Position Overview: The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing individualized instruction to support students with disabilities. The ideal candidate will create a positive learning environment, collaborate with staff and parents, and ensure compliance with state and federal special education guidelines. Key Responsibilities: -Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities -Provide differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs -Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success -Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed -Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations -Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment -Maintain accurate records and documentation required by law and district policy -Participate in ARD meetings and collaborate with campus personnel to support student achievement -Promote positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues Benefits -Competitive salary based on experience and district pay scale -Health insurance provided by the district -$10,000 life insurance policy -Sign-on bonus -Christmas bonus -Unused local days reimbursement (up to 5 days)

-Bachelor’s degree (required) -Valid Texas Special Education certification (required or ability to obtain) -Experience working with students with special needs (preferred) -Strong knowledge of instructional strategies, accommodations, and modifications -Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills -Commitment to helping all students achieve their full potential

Requirements
