St. Veronica Catholic School in Chantilly, Va is seeking an enthusiastic full time Preschool Lead Teacher for 2026-2027 school year. The teacher is responsible for implementing a well-rounded, play-based, developmentally appropriate instructional program that adheres to the policies and guidelines of the Diocese of Arlington Office of Catholic School. St. Veronica Preschool is part of a K–8 parish school. The mission of the school is to ensure vibrant religious education and exemplary academics by empowering our students and faculty through faith and knowledge. Qualified candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and either hold or be willing to work towards certification. The prospective teacher should have prior preschool teaching experience, strong communication and classroom management skills, and a nurturing approach to working with young children. Applicants will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, managing the classroom, should be enthusiastic about sharing the Catholic faith, passionate about teaching, and able to collaborate effectively with colleagues while fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment. Compensation is based on a step pay scale that provides pay based on degree level and years of teaching experience, ranging from $43,423.00 for Bachelor's with less than one year of teaching experience to $61,500 for over 18 years of experience with a Masters. This full time position includes a full benefit package including Diocesan 403b plan, pension plan, medical, dental, and vision.
