Position Description
POSITION TITLE: Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 School Year REPORTS TO: Principal and/or other Supervisor The above position(s) for the Windsor C-1 School District's 2026-2027 school year is hereby posted in accordance with Board Policy GDC-1 “Support Staff Recruiting and Hiring.” Requirements: Must have a secondary school diploma or its recognized equivalent (GED) and meet one of the following qualifications:
• 30 College Credit Hours
• Obtained an associate's (or higher) degree
• Pass the ParaPro or Paraprofessional Assessment
• Completed Missouri's 20-hour online substitute training program.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Assist teacher(s) with specific instructional, classroom, and child-care activities.
• Support individual or small groups of students in academic areas.
• Support students both with and without disabilities in the special education and general education settings.
• Responsible for duties assigned by the teacher(s)
