The App State Academy at Middle Fork is a UNC System lab school operated by Appalachian State University in partnership with Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools. The Curriculum Coach leads instructional improvement across their grade level span by implementing evidence-based practices that increase student engagement, achievement, and teacher effectiveness. This role collaborates with teachers through co-planning, teaching, and assessment, supports professional growth, and fosters a reflective, culturally relevant learning environment while contributing to the school’s leadership team.
