About this role
Maintains a clean, safe, and organized learning environment for students and staff. Follow routine cleaning procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness and efficiency of building operations. Responsibilities include daily sanitization of classrooms and restrooms, floor care, event setup, waste disposal, exterior grounds upkeep, and building security. The role requires: Physical stamina and knowledge of safe chemical handling. Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning and safety procedures. Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment. Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies. Ability to deep clean to prevent illness. Knowledge of minor repairs. Frequent walking, standing, climbing and heavy lifting and carrying. Work outside and inside, on slippery or uneven surfaces and ladders. Exposure to hot and cold temperatures, dust, toxic chemicals and materials.
