EXEMPT STATUS: Non-Exempt
NUMBER OF DAYS: According to district approved calendar
DEPARTMENT: Assigned Campus, Special Services
REPORTS TO: Principal, Supervising Teacher, Special Services Supervisor
SUPERVISES: None
EDUCATION:
• High School Diploma or GED and/or 30 semester hours of an accredited college or university
• Educational Aide Certificate from state of Texas
EXPERIENCE:
• Have satisfied one of the following requirements:
• Have three creditable years of experience, as defined in Chapter 153, Subchapter CC, of this title (relating to Commissioner's Rules of Creditable Years of Service), as either an educational aide I or II; or b. have completed 30 semester credit hours of college credit with some emphasis on child growth and development or related subject areas
• Have experience working with students and parents as approved by the employing superintendent
