POSITION: Food Service Driver
LOCATION: Alliance High School
REPORTS TO: Food Service Director, Director of Operations
WORK HOURS: 191 work days, 8 hours per day
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in straight truck delivery preferred
• Previous experience in food handling preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Ohio Drivers License and good driving record.
• Demonstrated aptitude for successful performance of the tasks listed in the job description approved by the Alliance Board of Education.
• Certificate of good health signed by a licensed physician
• Residence in the taxing district of Alliance City Schools preferred.
Basic responsibilities include:
• Delivers meals and supplies to each facility accurately, safely and on time.
• Assumes responsibility for receiving and warehousing shipments of food and supplies for food service.
• Pulls food and supplies from stock for production, based on stock requisitions and menu needs.
• Completes required delivery, inventory and requisition records.
• Checks food truck daily to insure maximum operation efficiency. Adds fluids, grease and air and cleans truck as needed. Reports all problems to transportation and food service supervisors.
• Assume all responsibility per Job Description.
