Dates of Program: July 6, 2026 – July 30, 2026 Days of Program: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. Locations: Roberto Clemente School Staff Needed: One (1) ESL Teacher Two (2) General Education Teachers ESL Teacher Qualifications:
• Hold a New Jersey English as a Second Language certification
• Must be knowledgeable of NJSLS, WIDA, and mandated state testing
• Excellent experience teaching and working with various grade level students.
• Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of teaching English as a second language, child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis and research related to learning and children needing to learn English as a second language.
• Exhibit a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community
• Demonstrate the ability to use technology and technological devices to enhance lessons, as well as for word processing, data management, information retrieval, visual and audio presentations, and telecommunications.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, and the community
• Successful implementation of instructional strategies
• Must be computer literate
• Highly motivated result-driven educator
General Education Teacher Qualifications:
• Must hold New Jersey K-6 or P-3 certificate
• Knowledge of the NJSLS and NJSLA
• Effective instructional practices and strategies
• Ability to analyze and use data to drive instruction
• Experience working with elementary students
• Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity. and good moral character
• Must be a critical thinker, problem solver, and respect others
• Must be computer literate and able to use interactive computer instructional software
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, and the community
