About this role
The Manheim Central School District has an opening for our Head Junior High Girls Basketball Coach (First Assistant) for the 2026-2027 season. The candidate will be responsible for the overall operation of the junior high girls basketball program. The ideal candidate is expected to have a complete knowledge of basketball skills and strategies, and will need to impart that knowledge to junior high female student-athletes. This candidate must also be able to demonstrate proven coaching techniques and philosophy and a willingness to work within the goals of the Manheim Central Athletic Department. This candidate will also be responsible for developing and organizing practices, planning and leading the team throughout the season, as well as organizing out of season open gyms.
Basketball coaching experience prefered at junior high or varsity level. Ideal candidate would have 1-3 years of coaching experience with coaching female student athletes. A college degree prefered. Yearly stipend EOE
