Position Summary Scott County Catholic Schools is seeking two Freshman Volleyball Coaches at Assumption High School. The coach exemplifies good sportsmanship and prioritizes the development of student-athletes as virtuous citizens and disciples. This position leads practices and competitions, serving as a mentor and role model while fostering growth, teamwork, and a love for the sport. Essential Functions
• Plan, organize, and lead effective practices and competitions
• Support the academic, athletic, and personal growth of student-athletes
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
• Serve as the primary contact for the freshman volleyball program
• Collaborate with coaching staff on game preparation and strategy
• Attend all practices, games, and team events
• Maintain equipment and support program operations
Qualifications
• Knowledge of volleyball fundamentals
• Iowa Coaching Authorization (or ability to obtain)
• Previous coaching or related experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to the mission of Catholic education
Requirements
• Completion of background checks and safe environment training
• Availability for evenings and weekend events during the season
