June 2026 We are thrilled to announce the following SECONDARY TEACHING vacancy in the Rochester Community Schools for the 2026-27 school year. Applications will be accepted until filled. Adult Education English Teacher Monday and Wednesday 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. and/or Tuesday and Thursday 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must hold valid Michigan Teaching Certificate in English, BA (6-12)
• Understand how to embed technology on a regular basis using on-line (internet based) programs
• Incorporate State content expectations in all lessons and follow District curriculum
• Use data to drive instruction and utilize available technology in day to day presentation of lessons
• Assess students and analyze needs and progress
• Maintain appropriate records
• Participate in special instructional activities to meet program and student goals
• Maintain confidentiality
