We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary PE Teacher/Coach to join our team. This full-time position involves fostering a positive and engaging environment where students can develop physical skills, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for health and fitness. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of child development and physical education principles, along with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
- Bachelor’s degree - Valid teaching certification for elementary education with a specialization in physical education (or the ability to obtain one). - Experience working with elementary-aged children in a physical education or coaching capacity is preferred. - Strong knowledge of physical education principles, child development, and age-appropriate physical activities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. - Ability to create an engaging and motivating classroom environment. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. - Commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the classroom and school community. - First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). - A passion for health, fitness, and the development of young athletes.
