Reports To: Transportation Department Administration FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma required Must be able to work 6:00 – 9:00 a.m. and 1:45 – 4:45 p.m. Interest in and ability to work with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs Physical ability to lift up to 130 lbs. Ability to maintain discipline with all age groups Effective communication skills with school staff and students Ability to clean bus/equipment as needed Ability to perform simple child hygiene as needed Outstanding references from current and former supervisors Satisfactory SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) report Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Pre-Onboarding Requirements As a condition of employment and prior to onboarding, the district will conduct a criminal history background check.
