About this role
The Pickerington Local School District (PLSD) is seeking interested applicants (2 positions) for a Custodian - 2nd shift at Pickerington Kindergarten Center. This is a 12 month position. Work hours are 2:30pm- 11:00 pm QUALIFICATIONS:
• Applicant must possess a high school diploma or a GED equivalent • Previous custodial work experience preferred • Ability to maintain care of buildings, grounds and equipment • Must have experience with operating heating and ventilating equipment • Ability to lift, push, pull or carry 80 pounds • Ability to perform manual labor for long periods of time • Knowledge and/or ability to learn technical building systems • Ability to communicate effectively, clearly and concisely both orally and in writing • Demonstrates aptitude for successful completion of tasks assigned • Ability to assist principal/supervisor in creating a safe, clean, positive and comfortable environment • Ability to follow directions and a strong desire to succeed • Must be friendly, dependable and exhibit a strong work ethic • Ability to work well with students, staff and parents of diverse populations If interested in these positions, complete the online application.
