Blackfoot School District No. 55 is seeking applicants for the following positions: POSITION:Teacher at Blackfoot Heritage Sixth Grade POSITION STATUS: Full-time position for the 2026-2027 school year APPLICATION DATES:June 30, 2026 - until filled STARTING DATE:August 17, 2026 SALARY:Placement on District No. 55 26-27 Teacher Salary Schedule BENEFITS:4-Day School Week 161 Day Contract with State Insurance Plan of Health, Dental and Vision coverage with affordable dependent and family coverage.
QUALIFICATIONS:Must have at least a bachelor’s degree and possess or be eligible for an elementary K-8 teaching credential issued by the state of Idaho. JOB DESCRIPTION:Will be responsible for teaching 6th grade curriculum to students enrolled at Blackfoot Heritage Sixth Grade and other duties as assigned by the building administrator.
