We are a small district in northern Michigan which serves around 500 students, PreK-12, in the communities of Fife Lake and South Boardman. Duties and responsibilities:
• Transport student(s) to/from their home to Forest Area Schools
• Transportation Monday - Friday; approximately 4 ½ hours per day
Qualifications:
• Commercial Drivers License (CDL) w/school bus endorsement recommended but willing to train the right person
• Ability to work well with others
• Strong desire to build and maintain positive relationships with students of all ages
Transportation/Bus Drivers work closely with the transportation department and superintendent, and are compensated according to the AFSCME contract.
