Preschool Substitute - Lindbergh Early Childhood Education
• Part-time position, scheduled as needed/available
• Schedule Monday-Friday
• Hourly rate: $15.09/hour
• Non-exempt, benefits not included
Summary: Maintains a safe environment for children; follows all safety procedures, assists facilitators and takes direction from the Teacher. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties as assigned)
• Maintains a clean, safe, organized and orderly environment
• Aware of and reports all broken equipment and unsafe situations
• Models and promotes respect and caring in relationships with children, parents, families, colleagues and community
• Utilizes positive strategies to guide children's social behavior to maintain an effective learning environment
• Greets families each day
• Aware of and uses Family and Children Information Clipboard
• Reads Sub File when entering a classroom to be familiar with the child information contained therein
• Responsible for implementation of the current lesson plan or verbal or written plan
