Occupational Therapist Location: Champaign County, Ohio Position Type: Part-Time 108 Days per Year Start Date: August 3, 2026 Join Our Team! The Madison-Champaign Educational Service Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide assessment, consultation, and therapeutic intervention services that help students reach their fullest potential in the educational setting. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by partnering with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success. What You'll Do
• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and interpret assessment results.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and interventions.
• Provide direct therapy services and consultation to students, families, and school staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and participation.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Recommend and adapt equipment, assistive technology, and environmental modifications.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and compliance records.
• Promote inclusive educational practices and support students in the least restrictive environment.
• Travel to assigned schools within the Madison-Champaign ESC service area.
Qualifications
• Valid Ohio Occupational Therapist Board License.
• Appropriate Ohio licensure/certification for school-based practice.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, educators, and related service providers.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel between multiple school locations.
• Successful completion of required criminal background checks and fingerprinting.
