MARSHFIELD R-1 SCHOOL DISTRICT JOB DESCRIPTION SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIAN
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to perform general grounds cleaning.
• Ability to operate required equipment.
• Ability to lift objects up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work on a schedule independently.
• Prefer one year minimum work-related experience.
• High school diploma
REPORT TO: Building Head Custodian PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential job skills/knowledge and abilities:
• Perform minor maintenance needs as assigned by the head custodian.
• Maintain school grounds in an attractive, clean and safe condition.
• Cover weekend activities as assigned by building supervisor.
• Shovel snow as required on school property.
• Maintain and prepare athletic fields, along with playgrounds, in a clean and attractive manner.
• Assist the head custodian as requested.
• Lift trash and other objects up to 75 pounds
• Perform other tasks as assigned by head custodian.
