• Description:

Key Responsibilities:
• Instruction:
• Developing and delivering lesson plans, including lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on activities.
• Teaching fundamental design principles, such as color theory, typography, layout, and image manipulation.
• Instructing students on the use of various design software and computer tools.
• Providing feedback and guidance to students on their projects and progress.
• Curriculum Development:
• Reviewing and revising course materials to ensure alignment with industry standards and student needs.
• Developing and implementing new curriculum components as needed.
• Staying current with software updates and new design trends.
• Assessment:
• Evaluating student work and providing constructive feedback.
• Developing and administering tests and quizzes to assess student understanding.
• Using various assessment methods to track student progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Classroom Management:
• Creating and maintaining a positive, supportive, and productive learning environment.
• Implementing classroom management strategies to ensure student engagement and participation.
• Addressing student behavior issues and providing support when needed.
• Collaboration:
• Working with other teachers and staff to develop and implement curriculum.
• Collaborating with industry professionals to provide students with real-world design experiences.
• Participating in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in education and design.
• Other Duties:
• Maintaining program facilities and equipment.
• Participating in school events and activities.
• Communicating with students, parents, and other stakeholders.
