Qualifications/Experience: ServSafe certification preferred but not required Strong background in restaurant or food service industry Ability to demonstrate culinary techniques and connect skills to real-world applications Successful background check required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students and staff. Ability to foster teamwork, creativity, and a positive learning environment. Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self discipline and honesty.
Specific Tasks: Assist with planning, preparing, and leading cooking and culinary activities. Support students in developing culinary skills through hands-on guidance and demonstrations. Aid with classroom and kitchen setup, organization, and clean-up. Encourage collaboration, problem-solving, and creativity in a team environment.
Hours Per Day: Approximately 10 hours per week Regular meetings on Mondays and Tuesdays, 3:00–7:00 p.m. Program runs from early November through March Occasional Saturday mornings required for fundraising events and competition preparation As per contract, schedule B
